Fiction Lounge launches first all-inclusive club night |

Ultra inclusive Saturdays starts tonight After providing over three years of upscale nightlife entertainment for local and international clubbers since its opening, the Fiction Lounge is set to launch its first-ever, all-inclusive nightclub experience. Starting June 2, the trendy nightspot will host the popular Ultra++ club series at its Marketplace venue, and the series will continue to take on a private, guest list-only format each Saturday night as it promotes its "exclusive" and "chic" mantra while offering complimentary premium, top-shelf liquor. Ultra, which was first launched in August 2011 at the Quad nightclub, has been somewhat of a phenomenon on the Kingston club scene, utilizing a team of ambassadors, an exclusive guest list concept, creative graphics, peer-to-peer marketing, and drink specials to create one of the most sought after club events in Kingston. Kevin Bourke, director of marketing for the KLE Group, owners of Fiction Lounge, said that his team is excited about the merger of two great brands, Ultra Inclusive and Fiction Lounge. The series is a welcomed addition to the club's weekly line up of premium experiences from Brand New Machine Wednesdays to Famous Fiction Fridays, just in time to kick off the highly anticipated summer party season. Bourke said, "Fiction Lounge was created to provide premium nightlife experience and to redefine and take nightlife entertainment to a new dimension in Jamaica. With a global feel - from the music to the food to the décor, it's a club experience you cannot get anywhere else. So as we continue to grow the Fiction brand using the same parameters that we set when we opened three years ago, the Ultra series will provide an exclusive experience that is all-inclusive; a club experience that you can't get elsewhere. The Ultra team has proven itself to be very creative and innovative marketers, as they were instrumental in building their series into the place to be on a Saturday night in Kingston. With a shared goal to take both our brands to the next level, we are happy they are now part of the team." The all-inclusive experience will utilise the main club and Johnnie Walker lounge spaces along with the new exterior Dunhill Smoking Lounge. In each section, guests will have access to premium liquor including Patr—n XO Café Shots, Red Rum, White Rum, and Vodka mixes, along with a slew of other premium brands which will be introduced on a themed basis. Deane Shepherd, one of the promoters of the Ultra series, said, "Ultra++ has grown phenomenally since we started in August 2011, and we believed it was time to take the event to the next level. Fiction provides us with a credible premium venue where we can express our new ideas, and take the Ultra brand forward. The Kingston nightlife can become quite monotonous at times, so we're aiming to create an experience that can't be duplicated. We want it to be a getaway from the ordinary and we want our guests to embrace a
different vibe and a different approach to fine entertainment." |
