She wants to abort the baby |

Dear Pastor, I am 29 and have two girlfriends. Both are pregnant. Both live with their parents. One is three months pregnant and wants to have an abortion. The other is six months. I told her parents I will support the child. They welcomed me into their family. However, they don't know another girl is pregnant for me. The girls don't know each other. The one who is at three months said she wants $20,000 to do the abortion. I am in a 'partner' and my draw is $30,000, but I cannot get it before July. Her father is in America and he filed for her. She said he will stop the filing if he finds out she is pregnant. Pastor, I don't know what to do, so I am asking for your advice. Please, answer me quickly. J.T. Dear J.T., I cannot encourage you to pay for an abortion, neither will I encourage this young lady to terminate her pregnancy. I do not believe in abortion on demand. This girl is healthy. Her life is not in danger. She was not raped. Therefore, she should carry the baby. Both of you knew what you were doing. Why should I encourage her to terminate the pregnancy? You are a very careless young man. You cannot continue to have unprotected sex. You should know such behaviour is not good. I hope you learn from your mistake. Let her have her baby. The money you would have given her to do the abortion, use it to prepare for the arrival of the child. Pastor |
