Fallen short in love |

Dear Pastor, I am 5 feet 6 inches. For me, a man who is 6 feet 3 inches is perfect. I can wear all my high heels and still look up. I feel good in the arms of a tall man, but I am more interested in the man's heart and how he treats me. Furthermore, I have heard it is not the size of the gun, it's the effect of the bullet. One of the best men I have ever met in my life was about 5 feet 7 inches. He was not only short but five years younger. Deep down I think if he were 6 feet 3 inches I probably would have overlooked the age. It was my loss. I regret every day I did not marry him. After 19 years we still communicate, but he is now married with two children. I have been married to tall men twice and currently divorced. The moral of the story is that height, like beauty, is skin-deep. L. Dear L., I have found your letter interesting. You have tried them all but now you are unhappy because the short man did not stay with you neither the tall men. I am reminded of a song that says, "I can't get no satisfaction." Keep on looking for your ideal man. Pastor |
