Rowan Morrison, 39-year-old labourer, of Church Road, Bog Walk, St Catherine, pleaded guilty to the charge of bribery. Facts outlined are that on May 23 about 6:30 p.m., members of the Island Special Constabulary Force were on duty in Bog Walk. The accused was being prosecuted for operating without a road licence. He went back into his vehicle and approached a corporal who was writing a ticket, and offered him $2,000 to stop writing it.
