Kelly Upsetter cookout a success |

Anthony Minott, Star Writer
One of Portmore's most popular party promoter Kelly Upsetter saw a large turnout of patrons for her 'Cookout', held at her headquarters in Waterford last Friday. The venue was full minutes after mid-night as the Flava Unit crew and their entourage were early at the venue. Waterford was the base for Vybz Kartel's former group Portmore Empire and whenever a 'Gaza' song, especially those of the incarcerated Worl' Boss, blared from the sound system, the forwards and salutes were plenty. The Gully Side crew wasn't left out and hands were raised when Mavado songs flowed from the speaker boxes. The support was strong, the food was sold off and the bar was kept busy by the party people, some travelling from very far. A number of crews, including, Upsetter, Star Girls, Good Life, Nue Creation, Fresh and Clean and Portmore Ballers among others, rolled out to make it a star-studded affair. Kelly had this to say: " First of all, I would like to thank my biggest provider in life God, for making this Kelly Upsetter event possible. A big big thanks to everyone who came, supported and endorsed my cookout. I am very grateful because you all made it possible. Special big up to my sponsors Little Wayne and Guinness. I really appreciate it."
