Lime sponsors Prodigal's '3 in 1' Freedom Fest for third year

Prodigal Son

Telecoms company, LIME, has once again signed on as sponsors of the staging of iconic gospel artiste Prodigal Son's 'Freedom Fest', slated for June 2, at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre in St Andrew.

This year's staging, which marks the third year that LIME will sponsor the event, will seek to provide a family-friendly environment inclusive of fun day and local health fair.

The annual event, being dubbed a '3-in-1 extravaganza', will integrate Prodigal Son's birthday celebrations and his '76 99' album launch, as well as extend the show to incorporate Jamaica's 50th anniversary celebrations.

According to Prodigal Son, "this year, patrons can expect an impressive outlay of fun for the entire family. The staging of the event this year marks a happy coincidence for me as I celebrate the launch of my newest album, my birthday and Jamaica's 50th anniversary of independence".

"We are happy, once more, to join in this year's festivities and partner with Prodigal to continue a religious movement throughout the country, while bringing Jamaicans together to enjoy themselves" says Stephen Miller, LIME sponsorship manager.

Prodigal further informed that the entire Radikal Yawd camp will be onstage for a pulsating concert featuring performances by Ryan Mark, Omari, Kereen Gregory, and many others.

Along with the many activities planned, LIME will also give lucky patrons discounts on Prodigal's CD if they top up with $200 or more on their phones, in addition to getting a chance to spin a wheel for more prizes from the company.

Additionally, the first 50 patrons to enter the gates and purchase an Alcatel 208a phone with the Mini World Pak international calling plan, at a small cost of $1,000 + GCT, will get $500 discount on Prodigal's new CD.

The gates open at 11 a.m. for the fun day and health fair, while show time will be at 6 p.m.
