Fresh from a short stint in London, Laden released the video for his new single Witness.

Written by the artiste, the single depicts his girlfriend kissing another woman, and although he was shocked at first, Laden grew to like the situation.

However, Laden stressed the point that, "It is not a personal experience. I was just showing off my versatility and it's just another controversy topic," he explained to The STAR.

The video, produced by Maven Records, was shot in London.

The 26-year-old also has his own philosophy on dancehall music. While it is popular saying that the music industry is now open for anyone to 'run in' since Vybz Kartel has been incarcerated, Laden believes, "The music was always open. Everyone who has talent can get a slice of the cake, no matter who is on top."

As for Laden, he is enjoying a wide fan base, both locally and abroad, and is looking forward to better things this year.

He is enjoying airplay for his singles Style Deh Shot on the Smudge rhythm, and Only Friend on the Tenement Yard rhythm.

Laden is also getting ready to release the video for the single Gal Professional, produced by Zionnoize Freeze Records.

"Mi a gwaan live my life and I'm happy. Just a continue sail on the ship. I have more things to accomplish," he said.
