I am living in the United States. I was in a relationship with a Jamaican man for 10 years. I never cheated on him. I went to Jamaica to be with him in August. I carried everything for him, only to find out that he is sleeping with his own mother. I just left everything without telling him that I was leaving and I will never go back.

Dear N.W.,

I am sorry that you have not said why you believe that this man is having an affair with his mother. When people say sleeping with somebody, they mean that they are having sex, and I am pretty sure that is what you are implying. That is a serious allegation.

I am not prepared to doubt you, but the very thought of it would make any normal person's stomach upset. You left the country when you became aware of what was going on. However, I would suggest that you call this man and his mother and ask both of them to seek professional help. But you should only do so if you are fully convinced that both of them are having sex with each other. Pray much for him and his mother. And pray for yourself too.
