The combination of Honey Bun and THE STAR sweetened the deal for many in Spanish Town, St Catherine, Wednesday.

It was an afternoon which found persons capitalising on the deal of buying THE STAR for $40 and getting a Honey Bun product free.

"It is very good that we are getting something back from the money that we are spending," said one young lady, Michelle McNaughton.

Many other persons, including vendors, also endorsed the idea.

Paul Reid, Gleaner Circulation field officer said that the promotion was quite productive and the partnership of the two products well received.

The personnel from Honey Bun were all smiles and declared that they just "didn't have hands" to pass on the buns.
