Currently promoting their new, hit single 'Black Woman', Mystikal Revolution recently released the official video accompanying the uplifting song of salute to strong, hard-working women.

The video, having landed on the tail of the buzz that the single has created internationally, proves to be a creative depiction of the song amid its official introduction of the band members.

The year 2012 has provided new opportunities for the band as Mystikal Revolution has managed to woo the hearts and ears of many in addition to having earned two awards throughout their four-year existence.

They were the winners of the Senior Category in the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission's (JCDC) band competition in 2008. Most recently, they claimed the number-one spot in the music category of the 2012 Heineken: Be Inspired competition, which has boosted their image and sound in the music industry. The most recent accomplishment promises to be a stepping stone for more greatness.

The band is currently working on their debut album as well as some more singles that will be released in upcoming months. Overall, it is clear that Mystikal Revolution is being embraced as a new and fresh sounding band in reggae as they have evidently attracted a faithful audience in Jamaica. This has been accomplished primarily through their almost countless but memorable performances at major festivals as well as shows at popular venues in the island.

These venues include the Redbones Blues Café as well as the Spiritz Bar and Restaurant (formerly known as Christopher's Jazz Café) at The Quad nightclub.

Mystikal Revolution is preparing to do more work in the summer and looks forward to releasing additional songs that will be close to the hearts of fellow Jamaicans and will give international listeners a new, sweet taste of the true Jamaican culture.
