Teachers, students claim ... Demon attacks child at school |

Rasbert Turner, Star Writer There was some level of commotion at a high school in St Catherine when a student was reported to have been possessed by a demon yesterday afternoon. THE STAR was told that the grade-nine student began behaving strangely about 2 p.m. while on the school compound. "Every time we attempt to calm her down she bite and scratch at us and started to make strange sounds," a student said when THE STAR arrived at the school. Based on reports received, it is said that witnesses were suspicious that something was wrong when the child began foaming at the mouth. It is said that when other persons tried to approach her she began kicking and making strange sounds. THE STAR was told that there were attempts by several persons, including teachers, to exorcise the demon from the child. According to one employee at the school; "Ova ya mi work and di duppy dem de yah nuff. Sometimes yu hear chair a move and when yu check yu no si nutten." The commotion at the school ended after the child was finally controlled and was taken away by staff members to get attention. |
