Suspected Bobo gang members arrested |

|
Three men believed to be members of the notorious Bobo gang were arrested by the Westmoreland police in the parish on Saturday and a 45 Haskell pistol seized. According to the Savanna-la-Mar police, about 10:10 p.m. they were on patrol in the vicinity of the Savanna-la-Mar High School when they accosted and searched three men. It is reported that the firearm was taken from one of the men. Two knives were also seized. It is reported that the three men, who are believed to be members of the Bobo gang, are suspected to have been involved in recent robberies in the Gooden's Road, Barracks Road, Dunbar River and Chantilly areas of the parish. |
