Appleton Maydaze continued its month of celebration last Friday by delivering an entertaining package for its followers. The month-long party still remains a crowd-puller.

The STAR arrived at a beautifully decorated venue minutes after midnight during the set of ZJ Ice, and he stimulated the ladies playing dancehall songs such as Busy Signal's Pon Di Edge and Vybz Kartel's Tick Toc.

During the playing of these songs, the Roaring Lion girls took over a section of the dance floor for themselves as they entertained several onlookers.

John Ellis, the brand manager of Roaring Lion, co-sponsors of the event, was also catching an eyeful of the happenings and according to him the Maydaze experience was amazing.

"It is great to be a part of Appleton Maydaze, it's an amazing event with a huge following and Roaring Lion is happy to be a part of it, it's a real good vibe," Ellis said.

ZJ Ice proceeded to whip up more songs to stimulate gyrating partygoers. Some of the songs that went down well with the audience were Aidonia's A You and Cham's Tun Up.

At 12:15 a.m., ZJ Ice switched the selection to deliver some more aggressive dancehall music, which had the males giving out oral gun salutes.

favourable response

Every song played from the DASECA-produced classic Anger Management rhythm got favourable response from the crowd, most notably Bounty Killer's Talk To Dem, Mavado's Real McKoy and Busy Signal's Full Clip among others.

At 12:30 a.m, ZJ Ice made way for Arif Cooper and the Fresh team, but not before toying with the ladies one last time.

"Big up every girl wey did deh pon di website Jamaicangirlsexposed.com. I enjoyed seeing u," he yelled then he played Pamputae's explicit single Ride It. The ladies loved the selection and some of them rewarded the selector's effort by mopping the floor with their bodies.

Arif Cooper decided to go a different route and he started his segment by playing songs from the hip-hop genre.

Songs like Crank That by Soulja Boy, Forever Young by Jay-Z and Bobby Valentino and Mavado's Hands On Me had the ladies singing in chorale fashion.

Arif Cooper and his partner in music, Scientist, carried the juggling to 1:30 a.m. and they managed to keep the audience engaged for the entire time especially when they switched to songs such as Bruck It Down by Mr Vegas, Konshens' Stop Sign and Gyal A Bubble.
