Bail was not even considered for a man who was on the run from the cops after he allegedly stabbed another man with a knife causing him to be hospitalised for several weeks. Kevan Campbell appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Friday. Campbell is charged with felonious wounding. He returns to court on May 18, as the medical report is outstanding. Allegations are that on March 13, Campbell used a ratchet knife to stab the man in his abdomen and on his left ear. The police told the court the complainant was hospitalised for several weeks but is now out of hospital. Resident Magistrate Stephanie Jackson-Haisley ordered that accused should be finger printed. |
