Star Tell Me Pastor

He doesn't want another child

Dear Pastor,

I have been in a six-month relationship with a man who is 15 years older than I am. I am 30 and was on a contraceptive. I recently found out that I am pregnant. The man said he was not in a position to maintain a child and will not want a child now or next year.

We have been living together for the last two months. He is a professional, but he is facing hard times now. He has left me with the only option of aborting the pregnancy, but I cannot do so. I have a nine-year-old child and he has a seven-year-old child. I have never been to his house. We have been trying to protect our children.

regrets

In a few months, he will be in a position to help me and the baby, but he is firm that he doesn't want another child. I told him, with or without him, I will carry my baby because I have known women who have regretted having abortions. I will never kill my baby to please a man. It is already hard on me financially. I want to move on and I am asking for your help.

Pregnant Woman

Dear Pregnant Woman,

You have my support. Have your baby. The Good Lord will help you. Ignore the pleadings from this man to terminate the pregnancy. When you have given birth, if he does not help you to support the child, take him to court.
