I am 19 years and was in a relationship with a 27-year-old man. He got me pregnant and the relationship ended because he was cursing me every day and telling me he didn't want me to carry the pregnancy. He said I was giving him something he didn't want, so I should get out of his life.

I need to develop myself. I have been too complacent. I have six CXCs. This man said he couldn't handle a baby. He was stressing me out, so I had the abortion. Now, I can't eat or sleep at nights. I call him every day, but he doesn't want me.

What should I do? I need your advice.

If this man didn't want you to get pregnant, he should have used a condom. He knew better. He is 27. He is a wicked devil. He got you pregnant and brought pressure on you to terminate the pregnancy. After you did the abortion, he ended the relationship with you. He has no heart. He was only thinking about himself. Perhaps he is married, or has another steady girlfriend, and was afraid she would have hear you had a child by him. So, he wanted you to get rid of the pregnancy.

I am not surprised you find yourself unable to sleep and eat. If this man had continued the relationship with you, it would have been easier for you to handle the psychological and emotional effects you have been experiencing since the abortion. Now, it is worse because he has abandoned you and treating you with contempt.

I suggest you make an appointment to see a family counsellor. You need professional help. You have made mistakes, but you will bounce back, so to speak. When you feel depressed, call close friends and talk to them. You don't have to tell them you have had an abortion. Read your Bible, and pray and make sure you go to church.
