Horace 'Mr Straight' Hudson says he is on a musical journey which started over 10 years ago and he intends to make this year a triumphant one. ''I know that I am a person with music in my system, as even in school I made the song for the school's football team,'' Hudson told THE WEEKEND STAR. He says he sees 2012 as the year he will get his breakthrough in the music. This belief was reinforced with his current singles, Show Time and Goodaz, both of which are getting good rotation on radio. He also told THE WEEKEND STAR that his music is mostly a mix of culture and lover's rock, and he is very proud as, to date, he has written all his material. ''The songs are on the Straight Productions label and the blessings keep coming. Therefore, I have no doubt that things are getting better. I have even shot two videos for them," he said. The St Andrew-born Hudson says, although it is hard work for an artiste to remain relevant in the industry, he relishes the challenge. |
