Offering 'a sweet presentation' of its newest value offer, telecommunications company LIME celebrated its LIME XL Value campaign with a five-hour-long promotional event which culminated with the cutting of a giant 8 x 8 foot cake at the Sir William Grant Park in downtown Kingston, last Friday.

Complete with a serving team of more than 25 persons, the huge delight was matched only by the entertainment, giveaways and the news of the savings in store for LIME prepaid customers.

Minutes before the super-size creation was officially unveiled and cut by deputy mayor, Councillor Andrew Swaby, and his colleague Grace Silvera, regional VP marketing, along with members of the public, Garfield Sinclair, LIME's managing director, addressed the large audience with news of the savings being offered by the company and the reason for the celebration.

"LIME has gone extra-large with our XL Value offer. There is no other network that gives you so much talk, texts and savings for your dollar," Sinclair said.

Engaged by MC Pretty Boy Floyd and entertained by the L'Acadco Stilt Walkers, past Dancin' Dynamites finalists and local talent, the bumper crowd left with their piece of sweetness, LIME credit and other giveaways.

Arlene Taylor, a member of the public who witnessed the spectacle, said, "This is really a good deal from LIME, mi haffi guh get a LIME chip (SIM) now."

Tyrone Williams, a LIME customer since 2008 said, "I have never seen a cake that big! LIME XL means value for money; $100 credit lasts much longer on LIME."

Since launching a teaser for campaign on April 7 for the offer on its social-media pages followed by the launch of an impressive media campaign, the company has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from fans and customers alike.
