From an album to overseas shows to a change in management, singer Hezron has a lot on his plate for the rest of the year.

Although he has not decided on the name, Hezron says the album will comprise reggae songs and a fusion of other genres. With this album, he believes he will be able to secure a place in the global reggae market.

"I believe that it is going to be a groundbreaking kind of album, an album that will introduce Hezron to the world. I believe it's going to be a serious introduction," he told THE WEEKEND STAR, noting that the album should be released by the end of May or the beginning of June.

For the album, Hezron said he worked with producers like Bobby Digital, Red Dog, Lenky, Wattage Productions, David Scorpion and Wiya from C-Sharp. Some of the songs that will be on the album include Take Your Clothes Off, Jammin', Fly and Two Places, which is a collaboration with Shaggy. He says there will also be collaborations with three other popular artistes.

Despite being without a name and an actual release date, Hezron says the anticipation for the album is already high.

"It's been long awaited. It's my first album. It's going to be groundbreaking. Europe has been waiting for this for years now. I really believe that it's going to make a serious impact in music," he said.

In addition to his album, Hezron says he has songs like The Needy And The Greedy with Mutabaruka and Can't Come Between that are getting airplay. He also plans to release We Can Feel Alive in the near future.

With a new look, courtesy of clothing line Spokes Apparel, Hezron says he recently relaunched his label Hard Shield Records. For that label, he has produced songs such as Ebony Eyes and The One. And he is now being managed by Star Zone that also does his bookings.

In coming months, Hezron says he will be kept busy with shows in the United States, Canada, Europe and the Caribbean.
