Alva, the next big hit in reggae music

Contributed - Alva

Born in Spanish Town and raised in Sandy Bay, Clarendon, football was Alva's first love. He was considered a high school soccer star.

He played in divisional finals and won high school premierships. Although he was a natural on the field, his soccer dreams were quickly replaced by a microphone at age 15 when his cousin (Bounty Killer's road manager), Peter Nar, introduced him to a studio, where his friend gave him the chance to sing on a track.

Since then, Alva has not looked back. He is now managed by Garfield Cowan, CEO of Nature's Way Entertainment.

Now, big things are in the pipeline for Alva as the artiste is getting ready to shoot his video for the song Jah Keep Me Safe and Sound, which is receiving rave reviews from fans, who have been rejuvenated by the artiste's raw talent and love for reggae music.

Alva says, "I will also be shooting a video for the single, I've Got Life, which is a part of my debut album."

This single is on Nature's Way Entertainment's first album (Nature's Way Entertainment Volume 1 on the Hope Rhythm), which features various artistes.

It features the likes of Richie Spice, Spanner Banner, Lutan Fyah, Thugsy Malone, kehv, Mr Melody, Whitney Wright, and Zamunda.

"This album will be out this spring and available on itunes, in stores, and also on www.natureswayent.com," said Fada G (Alva's manager).

Alva's debut album, I've Got Life, comprises 12 songs, which speak about world affairs, Jamaican culture, poverty, politics, and love.

Alva delivers conscious messages to the young and old as he continues his trend of becoming a musical legend.
