Dancehall insiders have been quietly impressed by Lollie Lue, the brash young deejay with the gravelly voiced delivery and the innocent face who lowers the boom on a new single called 'When We Roll' on the Imma Boss instrumental.

The single has been blowing up all over FM radio in the last couple of weeks, and a new video, shot in March, premiered to rave reviews on TVJ's 'Intense' soon after.

The deejay, whose real name is Othneil Johnson, has been thrilling audiences at school appearances in Portmore to stage shows in Negril with his complex metaphors and punchlines.

He has a growing underground fan base in Portmore who love his material, straight gangster songs like Disrespect and songs that dabble in hottie hottie territory such as Hotta Dan A Gal, Dem Bwoy No Waan No Woman on the This Is It rhythm and Love It Yardcore on the Spirited rhythm.

"The response to the When We Roll video has been incredible, it just fuel me to want more, so I will be dropping another video this summer for another single on an upcoming rhythm project by Down Sound, the company ah work wid me, dem see the potential, so mi a work wid it as well," Lollie said.
