DJ Nicco unleashes mad music at Dutty Rock |
|||||
DJ Nicco - Contributed DJ Nicco, the mad professor will lead the soca charge at Sean Paul and Leftside's Dutty Rock party at Club Riddim tonight (Friday, April 13). Resident sound Coppershot will also man the wheels of steel creating the party vibe. Each week, the party celebrates a new theme that dictates the dress code and offers entry specials to those patrons who adhere to the dress code. The weekly event features live performances on the last Friday of each month. Mobile giant Digicel, which has partnered with the promoters of Dutty Rock to each night, is offering patrons lots of prizes and surprises. The event, which registered an outstanding party vibe last week, continues with a pre-J'ouvert party theme and $500 cover charge. Ladies enter free before 1 a.m., and ladies with college ID enter free all night. Patrons will also be privy to lots of giveaways. Last week at Dutty Rock several entertainers and fans celebrated the birthday of dancehall superstar Aidonia. Bounty Killer, Elephant Man, Harry Toddler, among others, showed their support to their colleague. Sean Paul and Leftside, promoters of the party, started the Dutty Rock party series to help bridge the gap between uptown and downtown partygoers and diversify the party scene. The party has been successful in this feat as a variety of patrons come out to Dutty Rock on Fridays to partake of the vibe that the party has to offer.
