Police investigate Mandela Highway crash |

The Hunts Bay police are investigating the fatal accident that claimed the life of a 39-year-old man and the injuring of two persons along the Mandela Highway on Sunday. Dead is Winston McDonald, otherwise called Aldene Gooden, of Homestead and Waterford addresses in St Catherine. The incident reportedly occurred about 5:45 a.m. Further reports are that McDonald was driving his Toyota Corolla motor car along the roadway when, on reaching the vicinity of the Duhaney River, he reportedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a utility pole and a road barrier. He was flung from the vehicle and was found several feet away. He died on the spot. The two passengers have been admitted in hospital in
