A man was shot and killed on Whitehall Avenue, in St Andrew, yesterday.

Dead is 29-year-old Duhaney Wright of a Kingston address.

According to the police, Wright was pounced upon by two armed men who shot him several times. It is reported that men had walked to Wright's location after parking their vehicle nearby.

He died on the spot.

Investigations are ongoing.
