International recording artiste Black Mattic has released a new single titled Superstar, the first of 15 tracks on his soon-to-be released album called the Diamond for Life Project.

The single, produced by Yo Dash Productions, which is based in Brooklyn, New York, is touted to be a worldwide hit. It was also mixed and mastered by Tom Gardener and Tony Gillis respectively, from the multi-platinum music firm The Cutting Room Studio.

According to Black Mattic, who grew up in Waterhouse, St Andrew, before migrating to the States in 1999, the track underlines his musical ambitions, but at the same time, it's very exciting and easy to catch onto.

"The track represents my goal in the music industry. The track is both motivating and exciting," said the deejay, born Kenich Lee.

The album, Diamond for Life Project, will serve as a personal achievement for Black Mattic, who remembers fondly the struggles he faced as an upcoming artiste and a youth growing up in the inner city.

Black Mattic also revealed to THE WEEKEND STAR that he will also release a mix tape call Kingston 11, which features the rather graphic hit single Keep It Real.

The 24-year-old and father of two, has also just completed the construction of his new state-of-the-art Official Hitz studio in Queens, New York, and said that he, along with signed artistes Cubon, Thrillz and engineer Yo Dash, are ready to explode onto the music world, quality materials.

He also plans to create a personal website at www.blackmattic.com that fans can log onto and learn more about him and his record label, Official Hitz Entertainment.
