The police have found the head of 55-year-old Burnett Thomas who was killed in St Ann on Sunday. Thomas' head was found yesterday morning. It is reported that Thomas, a tailor and watchman at York Castle High school, was beheaded and his body set ablaze at his home in the usually quiet Brown's Town community. Investigators said the body also had multiple stab wounds. A man with whom Thomas reportedly shared residence has been in custody since Sunday and is being interrogated by investigators. Thomas' badly burnt headless body was found in his bed about 8:30 Sunday morning after residents saw smoke coming from his room, and alerted the fire department and the police. The police say a search is still on for another suspect. |
