Diego Haughton highlighted the Jamaica Yellow Pages KSAFA Super League match week by notching a hat-trick in August Town's 3-1 win over Constant Spring last Saturday.

Haughton, 21, netted in the 12th, 51st and 70th minutes. What makes the player's goal-scoring feat so remarkable is that he is normally a goalkeeper but was used as an outfield player for the game. He is also the brother of Devon Haughton who keeps for the Harbour View senior team.

Haughton's exploits pushed August Town to their 10th win of the season and maintained their third place spot in the table, on 32 points, three behind second placed Rae Town and 10 adrift of runaway leader Cavalier.

Tavares Thompson had briefly levelled the scores for Constant Spring in the 32nd minute, but could not prevent them from sliding to their sixth defeat of the season. The team has played 16 games to be on 16 points in ninth spot.

Meanwhile, defending champion Cavalier took a step closer to retaining their title by demolishing Rockfort 3-0 and maintained their seven-point lead atop the table.

Dellon Wilson opened the scoring in the 36th minute before Geovanie Samuda doubled the advantage in the 74th minute. Veteran striker Fabian Nethersole sealed Cavalier's 13th win from 17 matches in the 90+2 minutes.

The champions are up to 42 points, seven more than Rae Town, who whipped Olympic Gardens 3-0 to be on 35 points. Rockfort are 10th on 13 points.

Rae Town had to wait until after the hour mark to get on the score sheet, courtesy of Derron Lawson in the 62nd minute. Then, further goals by Orane Sutherland in the 82nd and Jermaine Fletcher in the 90+5 sealed the emphatic win.

Barbican consolidated fourth spot on 31 points with a 2-1 win over Mountain View who remained in fifth place with 25 points. Jermaine Parris netted both goals for Barbican in the fifth and 29th minutes, while Jhevon Howell replied for Mountain View in the 82nd minute.

Greenwich Town and the University of the West Indies (UWI) played to a 0-0 stalemate and remained in sixth and seventh spots, with 22 and 21 points respectively.

Bottom teams Duhaney Park and former champion Santos battled to a 2-2 draw and are currently 12th and 11th on 13 and 11 points respectively.

Ander Moulton gave Santos a 30th-minute lead before Odyne Jack pulled Duhaney Park level in the 64th and Dwayne Bryan gave them the lead in 84th minute. Lenardo Gooden earned a share of the points in the 90+4 minute.

Craig Galey hit a hat-trick in the 38th, 39th and 47 minutes after Fitzroy Dewar had opened the scoring in the 34th minute. Damion Davis replied for Molynes in the 67th minute.

The lawmen with their 14th win from 17 matches, are on 43 points and are three points clear of Allman-Woodford on 40 points.

Shortwood edged Meadforest 1-0 courtesy of a Marlando Barnes strike and consolidated third spot on 35 points. Maxfield Park and Real Mona scored wins and remained in fourth and fifth place with 30 and 29 points respectively.
