The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising customers in several areas of St Catherine that they will have no water on Wednesday, March 27 to Friday, March 30. This is to facilitate critical well maintenance works to be carried out at the Bybrook No. 3 facility. Areas to be affected are: Princessfield, August Town, Cow Gully, High Mountain, West Prospect, Cashew Walk, Riversdale main road, sections of Church Road and Burton. Meanwhile, the NWC is also advising customers in some sections of St Thomas, that they will experience a disruption in their water supply on Wednesday, March 28 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. This is to facilitate maintenance works to be carried out at the Albion Heights Pumping Station. Areas to be affected include: Albion Housing Estate, Sun Valley, Grants Pen and 11-Miles. Customers are being urged to store water for the times specified. The NWC says they regret any inconvenience these necessary works may cause. |
