The Judicial Review Court has ruled in favour of the Director of Public Prosecutions Paula Llewellyn that she should not give evidence in the Cuban light bulb trial. The court has also ruled that the DPP should not be barred from court during evidence and that a subpoena for the DPP to be a witness should be quashed. Two justices, Raymond King and Evon Brown, were in favour of the DPP and Justice Almarie Sinclair-Hayles was the dissenting judge. Lord Anthony Gifford QC was the
attorney representing the DPP. |
