Booze was in abundance, the babes were out, and the music was pumping all night.

BBM-'Babes, Booze, Music' held at Club Overtime (NHT Parking Lot) in New Kingston, offered a different club vibe and setting for patrons on Saturday.

When The STAR arrived at the venue, disc jock Nitro was busy trying to create an early vibe among the handful of patrons inside the venue with songs such as She Got It Made and Shawty, by Plies, Bottoms Up by Trey Songz and Deuces by Chris Brown.

His efforts did not get the best results as there were not enough patrons present at the time.

It was ZJ Chrome who got patrons in party mode. From the start of his set, he made it clear that he was, "all about the thing called party non-stop."

He started things off on the right note as he was able to get patrons dancing to 90s hits such as Buju Banton's Only Man, Nadine Sutherland and Terror Fabulous' Action, and World Dance and Girls Dem Sugar by Beenie Man.

"Wi have something fi di ladies!" he said before playing Wayne Wonder's No Letting Go. Females needed no persuasion to accept his gift as they danced along.

He then backed up his earlier statement of 'non-stop party'' with Danny English and Egg Nog's Diwali rhythm hit, Meet Me At The Party.

He made a switch to get patrons doing the 'Pon Di River' and 'Row Like A Boat' after which he took aim at the ladies again with T.O.K.'s Shake Yuh Bam Bam.

Vybz Kartel's Inna Mi Karl Kani and Sen On got patrons more in the party vibe, but it was Busy Signal's 2005 hits Not Going Down and Step Out that seemed to really hit the nail on the head.

Hip-hop songs were served cold but females were later fêted with songs such as Beautiful, Tambourine, Single Ladies and Single Again.

Bartenders were up and about the venue attending to the alcoholic needs of patrons as they made their way through the crowd with beverages.

By now the crowd was building.

ZJ Chrome injected some more fuel with soca songs such as Roll It and Guh Dung.

He then went into overdrive as Wine Pon Yuh, Dutty Wine, Hot Wuk and Neva Believe Yuh, upped the tempo and had females dancing even more.

He chose to do it "nice and easy" next with songs such as Usher's Love In This Club, 50 Cent's Ayo Technology, Dream's Shawty Is A Ten and T.I.'s Whatever You Like.

Songs from Konshens, Vybz Kartel and Ryno on Cashflow's Better Life rhythm also found favour with patrons.

Chrome 'bigged up' all real friends with Konshens' Real Friends and hit out against the 'fakers' with Assassin's Wah Do Dem Guy Deh and Talk How Mi Feel before suggesting that everyone should live good and have a good time to Hand Inna Di Air.

A string of Vybz Kartel songs had males sounding their approval of them and also served well in giving the females time to let loose on the dancefloor.

As The STAR made its exit, songs like A Yah Suh Nice, Drop It, Wine, and Bubble Gal A Bubble, kept everyone active as they danced the night away.
