The GLK Entertainment produced old school party 'Yesterday' brought 'sand to the beach,' as hundreds of loyal female patrons streamed out to the Sugarman's Beach in celebration of old school dancehall reggae music.

Renaissance started the juggling with young DJ Dre Day who played 90s R&B, and had the females singing along to each song.

He further engaged the audience by playing reggae lover's rock singles such as Strangers In The Night by Glen Washington and Missing You by Sanchez.

Couples were seen making their orders at the drink inclusive bars, while others seemed to be in a chilling mode.

Those in the chilling mode made their way to the Haagen-Dazs ice cream booth which was outfitted with chairs and tables.

Back on the dancefloor, the DJ began to play more up tempo songs such as Shabba's Lover Man, Lady G's Nuff Respect and Telephone Love by Shabba Ranks.

At 7:15 p.m., it was time for some hip-hop selections and the DJ played Wyclef Jean featuring Claudette Ortiz Two Wrongs Don't Make It Right and Lauryn Hill's remake of Bob Marley's Turn Your Lights Down Low.

Females could be heard competing with the sound system to sing the lines of the song.

The DJ being cognisant of his huge female audience, began to boost their feminine egos by playing songs such as Buju Banton's Champion, Love Me Browning and Love Black Woman.

The females loved the attention and rewarded the selections with screams of approval.

The DJ also incorporated gospel music into the mix, playing Shackles by American gospel duo Mary Mary and Shout by Kirk Franklin.

Kurt Riley took over the turntables at 8:20 p.m., and continued to woo the female patrons with reggae singles such as Fresh Vegetable by Tony Rebel and Sexy Thing by Jack Radics.

His segment was also well received and he handed over to veteran DJ Richie Poo of Silver Hawk at 9 p.m.

He started his set by playing the Street Sweeper rhythm with singles from Burro Banton, Sean Paul and Vegas.

What followed next was a hard-core segment laced with dubplates of classic dancehall war songs.

The patrons enjoyed every single selection, and when The STAR left the party at 10 p.m., patrons were still dancing up a storm.
