I am an 18-year-old girl who is currently in my final year of doing my associate degree at college. I have missed my period and I have done a pregnancy test which shows positive. However, I do not want to carry this pregnancy because my mother and others would not be proud of me. I have not told anyone about it, neither my boyfriend because I want to get rid of the pregnancy without anyone knowing.

Can you advise me on any home remedy that can be taken for me to abort the baby? I do not have the money to see a doctor to get it done. Please send me your advice. I am counting on you.

I cannot encourage you to abort your pregnancy. If you didn't want to get pregnant, you shouldn't have had unprotected sex. It would be wrong for me to encourage you to terminate the pregnancy. And I must beg you not to use anything to try to abort the pregnancy.

Please tell the young man that you are pregnant. Tell your parents also. They will be disappointed in you but might eventually rally around you. This pregnancy should not prevent you from pursuing your studies.
