A social enquiry report was ordered by the court yesterday for a matter concerning two teens who were caught on surveillance camera breaking into a man's house. Charged with housebreaking and larceny are 18-year-old Brandon Williams and 14-year-old Shamari Binns, both of Tavares Gardens Kingston 11 addresses, who pleaded guilty to the charges. Both defendants are to return to court on May 8. According to police reports, on February 29, both defendants were captured on surveillance footage breaking and entering the premises of the complainant. It was revealed that the complainant had been experiencing frequent break-ins and decided to install a CCTV on his premises in an attempt to identify those responsible for the offences. Subsequently, both defendants were caught on the camera. |
