Multi-talented musician Sheldon Thomas believes the time has come for him to experience a breakthrough in music, but admits it will take a lot more hard work and a bit of good luck. Thomas, known to many as L Razor, has been honing his musical talents since age 10 when he would regularly participate in drama activities and deejay competitions at school. Now as one who has gained invaluable knowledge in the area of producing, songwriting, video directing and recording, the confident L Razor said now is the time for the world to embrace his talents. "I vision that 10 years from now I am up there with the best, displaying my music. Everything will be all right then. When it comes to music, not only will my songs be out there, but other artistes will want to work with my label," he said. The cultural singer has already collaborated with prominent local artistes such as Vybz Kartel, Macka Diamond and Boom Steppa. He has also worked with Philtunes music from Germany and Shocking Vibes producer Marlon 'Pirano' Cooke. soothing-lyricist L Razor said he would love the opportunity to spread his music worldwide. The soothing-lyricist has two music videos, Jahover We A Praise and Tired A The Mockery, are in heavy rotation on several local music charts. "It is possible (for the world to start love his music). At this point, I have my own label (Straight Hit Records, based in New York), I have studied the business, plus my road management team, Iceman Promotions, is doing an excellent job," he said. L Razor has also released other songs such as A Who Dem and Defend It, which features Vybz Kartel. |
