Fuller faces further sanctions after red card |

Ricardo Fuller Jamaican international Ricardo Fuller faces further sanction from English Premier League team Stoke City after picking up a first-half red card against Chelsea on the weekend, which infuriated his manager Tony Pullis. Fuller stamped on tough tackling Chelsea defender in the 25th minute, leaving Stoke to battle The Blues at Stamford Bridge for the better part of 65 minute, which left Pulis fuming. "It's a ridiculous reaction from Ric and just goes to show how stupid he can be at times," Pulis was quoted as saying in the Sentinal. "Ivanovic does catch him, but you can't react like that." goal Chelsea went on to win the game 1-0 courtesy of a goal from talismanic striker Didier Drogba in the 68th minute. "He's let himself down. It's unacceptable, but straight after the game Ric was the first to apologise in the dressing room. I will speak to him. But whatever we do, we will do it within the football club," Pulis said. Fuller also faces a three-match ban for the incident, which is not good news for a player that has struggled to secure regular first-team football. The strikers start against Chelsea was the first in a few months, after suffering a long spell on the sideline after an Achilles injury. Fuller, who was the subject of transfer speculation during the January window, will be out of a contract in the summer. However, Pulis also spoke with some admiration for the forward, a popular figure at the club after being an integral part of their promotion to the top flight. "He's been a great player at the football club and is a lovely, lovely lad who I have a lot of time for. But for some reason he snaps easily. Who knows what goes on in his head?"
