Man confesses to killing taxi driver?

The Hanover police have taken a man into custody after he reportedly confessed to killing a 40-year-old taxi operator and burying his remains in his field.

It is reported that the accused confessed that he burnt the body before burying the remains in an area he was preparing to plant corn.

Dead is Rudolph Bernard, who reportedly went missing on February 28.

The identity of the accused man is being withheld.

It is reported that the accused was attending court on another murder charge when the police took him into custody.

The police say investigations led them to the accused man's home, where they reportedly found him with a phone believed to belong to the accused.

Further reports are that the Ramble police have also found Bernard's white car sprayed in black.

Investigations are ongoing.
