The Clarendon native is hoping to capture the title when the awards are handed out on April 8 in Clarendon.

In a release to the media, Denno expressed his gratitude for the recognition.

"For me, it's a great feeling to see that the parish that I am originally from is appreciating my work. I put the almighty in everything that I do, so come April 8, the votes will speak", said Denno.

Denno has been on a tear in recent months with songs including Caan Lock Mi Out on the School bag rhythm
