Willing to help the 'abandoned girl' |

Dear Pastor, Your column in the Star is inspirational and fulfilling. The letter in your column dated March 1, 2012, 'Need a solution for my problem', from an abused and abandoned girl, captivated my heart. I was also abandoned by my three children with two women, who I left because of their negativity and selfish ways. The mothers moulded the children into her own images, then used them to get even with me and destroyed a father-and-children relationship. I am disabled from work-related injuries. I am a 62-year-old man and also a USA citizen. I am a Jamaican by birth, living in New York. I underwent one surgery last year and have one more to undergo. I am so scared to make the appointment. They recommended clipping four of my vertebrates in my neck to stabilise them. However, I will be very pleased to pay up 'Abandoned Girl' school fees. She seems very ambitious and knows right from wrong. Therefore, I am requesting her name, the institution that she attends, e-mail address and telephone numbers. No human should ever cherish the thoughts of touching their children inappropriately. Those who go to bed with their own children for sexual pleasure should be condemned and cast from society. Her mother is avoiding her because of the truth. Yet, the girl is reaching out to her without any success. I wish to God my children were reaching out to me. I would welcome them with open arms. I need to know more about her. Interacting with her is desirous. However, the email route will be the only avenue presently. I am aware that there are wolves in sheep clothing and every human has their good and bad ways. Therefore, I am no exception to the rules. My guard will be up until I choose to let it down. My mother and father passed in 1974 and 1985, respectively. I honoured them all the days of their lives, and even in their graves I am still honouring them. That should speak volumes of the tremendous impact of how their teachings captivated my compassionate heart, where good and bad are concerned. You are God's servant, sent to help emancipate His children in our time of need and lead us in the path of righteousness. May the blessings of God be with you always. Compassionate Heart Dear Compassionate Heart, We will be in touch with the young woman who is in need of help, and then we will contact you by email. I regret hearing that the relationship between yourself and your children is not good. I hope that will improve in the months and years ahead. I am also sorry to know you are not physically well. My prayers are with you. Pastor |
