Yet to make physical contact with child currently in the US

Reggae artiste Siccature 'Jah Cure' Alcock is still basking in the birth of his first child Kailani Bell Alcock with his wife, Kamila. However, he is yet to greet his daughter physically.

Kailani was born in the United States, and because Jah Cure is without a US visa, he is yet make physical contact with his child, but the artiste says that everything will fall into place in due time.

"Her mother was due at a point where it was too late to fly to Jamaica, since I'm without a visa right now I haven't held her, but as soon as she is fit to fly I will see her," Jah Cure said.

However, Jah Cure is still overjoyed at the fact that he is now a father and says, "The feeling is unexplainable."

"Words cannot explain, it is a gift from God to have a beautiful little girl, it's like another milestone in my career," he told The WEEKEND STAR.

Balancing music and fatherhood

Jah Cure says that despite his hectic schedule, he still makes the necessary time to be involved with the child-rearing process.

"I will do anything to make this work. Life is about responsibility, so even though the schedule is tough I will make it work, what needs to be done will be done," he said.

"I will be able to balance my time because as a man you have a role to play, and we have to do what is necessary to keep the family alive, so I'm going to be on top of it," he said.

The reggae artiste noted that he is very inexperienced in the capacity as a father; however, he believes he can match up to any challenge that fatherhood may present.

"Mi young, I'm a young father but a man is just a man and his role is to take care of his family and guide them in the right path. There are a lot of homeless kids out there, so a man has to just know what him want and make it work," he said.

Jah Cure also disclosed that there are plans to record a song celebrating the birth of his child, however, he was tight-lipped about what his fans could expect.

"I am going to do a song about the baby and in due time I will make the media know about it, because when I'm doing my music I try to do it good," he said.

Jah Cure recently released new singles such as From My Heart produced by Notice Production and Kiss Me Girl which he says was produced in Antigua.
