High energy at Link-Up Fridays

The energy level at Link-Up Fridays was taken to a new level last Friday when guest disc jock Boom Boom was added to the line-up.

The popular disc jock joined forces with resident selectors, Sound Kaos, DJ Marlon and Harry Hype. Together they created musical ecstasy. With tunes like Potential Kid's Yah So Nice, and Busy Signal's How Yuh Bad So blaring from the sound-system speakers, the crowd were in for a treat.

Later at the party, about four women parted the crowd and created an unplannned wining contest. A plus-size lady dressed in black even gyrated on her head top much to the delight of the crowd. A woman in a long dress, looking like something from her grandma's closet, decided to 'take the video light'. She gyrated to applause and laughter from onlookers and at one stage even left the venue and returned in a more suitable outfit.

When THE STAR left the venue much later, patrons were still enjoying the vibe.
