Low self-esteem and unsure of what to do |

Dear Pastor, I have read your columns a lot and I have noticed you are good at what you do. Keep up the good work and may God bless you. I need your advice. I am a young woman. I did eight CXC subjects in 2011 and I was successful in six. However, I am not pleased with my grades I got six threes. I am very hard working and I don't know how to give up, so I got into an evening program and doing a few CAPE subjects. I need your advice, pastor, because I am afraid to apply for a job with such grades. I need a job to finish paying for school and to do over some of my subjects. My mother is helpful to me but she is unemployed at this moment. My father is a sperm donor so I have not heard from him in a while. He is not helpful to me. All I need is a job but, due to the fact that I am ashamed of my grades, or I have low self-esteem, I don't know what to do. Please, give me your advice. Ashamed Dear Ashamed, I believe you have tried your very best. I am sure you will work harder to make better grades. You are an ambitious girl. If anyone is willing to help you with a job, I will contact you immediately. Pastor |
