Singer Romain Virgo's year keeps getting better and better! After a short, yet successful US tour, he went on to win the enviable title of Artiste of the Year and will be releasing yet another single and accompanying video in a few days.

He says the US tour, which took him to states including New Jersey, Florida, and North Carolina was a phenomenal experience. "It went well and I got to perform a lot of the older material as well as the newer singles. People are really loving them, especially the new ones," he said.

Shortly after arriving in the island, Romain was named Artiste of the Year at the Jamaica Reggae Industry Association award show, which was staged at Emancipation Park on February 25. "Winning the award felt great! It definitely feels good to be acknowledged for all the hard work, especially as a young artiste. It motivates me to work even harder to make my fans proud with music they will love," he said.

Romain, who is known for his hit singles Cyaa Sleep, Wanna Go Home, Rich In Love, System (Feel Like Letting Go), and more, released another single, I Know Better, for which a video is being filmed and will be released soon. His sophomore album, System, is also scheduled for release at the end of April.
