Prayer can do it |

Dear Pastor,
God bless you and keep up the great work. I believe prayer certainly has brought and can bring the dead back to life. My fiancé is a living proof. Doctors covered him and they were on their way with his body to the morgue, but his pastor kept praying for him. A minute before he was taken to the morgue, they asked him to blink, or move his fingers. He said he struggled, because he heard the doctors and was afraid he couldn't show any sign of life before he was placed in the freezer. He had a brain tumour, bigger than the size of a golf ball. His prognosis was not good, but today he shows no signs of his past illness. L. Dear L., You believe prayer brought back your fiancé to life after he was declared dead. Surely, there must have been a mistake. If the doctors had pronounced him dead, why would they ask him to blink or raise a finger? Does that not tell you that they doubted whether the man was dead? Perhaps this man had a near- death experience, but he was not dead. Your fiancé was not dead in the true sense of the world. Evidently you believe the preachers who are around, telling people that prayers can bring back the dead to life. Pastor |
