I have some friends in college that I have to work with in terms of group assignments and so on. All they do when we meet is gossip. I try my best to keep my mouth closed when they are gossiping because I know it is not a good habit.

You are a wise student. The Bible says whoever keeps his mouth, keeps his life. This is a hard lesson for some people to learn but it is a good lesson.
