AhZiD making a buzz in the dancehall scene |

AhziD (left) and Khago - Contributed Kevon 'AhZiD' Smalling is already a legend on the south coast of Jamaica where his high-energy deejay style and powerful lyrics have made him a favourite at parties and sound-system dances from St Elizabeth to Clarendon. Formerly known as 'Kila Don', he "The people are responding to my energy, music is my lifestyle, my occupation, mi live it and breathe it and now mi ah go tek it to the whole world," the confident young man said in a release. He is getting a lot of street props for hard-hitting songs such as Enemies Are Forever and Wonder Why People can reach AhziD on Facebook by searching for Kevon Ahzid Smalling and also join his music group on Facebook named Ahzid, where you can listen to his growing catalogue of singles. AhziD is the protégé of dancehall superstar Khago who rechristened him AhziD a few years ago. "Ah Khago change mi name from Killa Don and from mi start use AhziD, mi ting just a tek off pon rapid," he said. "I don't know if ah the image mi portray or the sound, but people ah gravitate towards the ting right now."
