Dutty Rock kicks off today

Multiplatinum, Grammy award-winning reggae superstar Sean Paul and Leftside have laid their claim on Club Riddim with a new weekly series, Dutty Rock, set to start today.

The duo tapped Club Riddim, an entertainment oasis located in New Kingston, to house the dynamic musical experience for the party-driven music lovers. In addition to superstar appearances, patrons can expect "resident sound Coppershot with di hottest DJ's weekly, fly girls and a wicked vibe", explained reggae toaster come promoter Sean Paul.

Club Riddim is a hot spot for hardcore night-time entertainment. Leftside added, "We are creating a fusion of uptown and Garrison partying in unison. On Fridays, people who want to party after a long week at work can do so at Dutty Rock."

Each and every Friday, Dutty Rock at Club Riddim will provide great entertainment and musical vibe to all with a $500cover charge.Ladies enter free before 1 a.m. and ladieswith college ID enter free all night. Patrons will also access bottle specials at the bar, including Moet and Hennessy.

Event promoter is a new role for Sean Paul.In addition to releasing five studio albums (four of which are with VP/Atlantic), touring over 100 countries and racking up an impressive collection of awards and accolades, he recently embarked on a career as a music producer.

His sophomore rhythm project Material features dancehall's finest performers, including Wayne Marshall, Voicemail, Leftside, Fambo and Chi Ching Ching. Well known as a lady lover, Sean Paul also tapped the talents of Ce'Cile, Tami Chynn and Raine Seville, all of whom appear in the medley video for the rhythm shot by Mykal Cushnie and choreographed by Tanisha Scott.
