International recording artiste Cherine is set to blaze the stage with her infectious dancehall soul sound at Plug 'n' Play with an upcoming performance tonight (Friday, February 17) at the Jonkanoo Lounge in Kingston's Wyndham Hotel.

The event dubbed Cherine and Friends is a special treat to fans who will be getting the real Rockfort Live experience when Cherine hits the stage for her two-hour show featuring some of reggae's brightest young acts.

The show will be in celebration of Reggae Month as well as a post Valentine's segment for the lovers in attendance and starts promptly at 10:30 p.m. Special ticket prices are available for fans who are students with ID at $300 as well as couples $900, and can be purchased at the gate.

Backed by her official band Rockfort Rebels, Cherine promises her fans a fantastic show filled with lots of surprises including guest performances from Chuck Fenda, Natel, Danielle D.I, Chevaughn, Peter Gee and G-Blunt to name a few. "This is unlike any show I have done in Jamaica to date. Patrons can expect to be taken on an exciting journey. It's going to be a magical night. There will be a whole lot of love in Jonkanoo Lounge come Friday night," Cherine adds with a smile.

Coming fresh off of a knockout performance with Sly & Robbie at the Raggamuffin Festival in the Rotorua International Stadium in New Zealand, Cherine is also preparing for appearances at several events in Jamaica in the coming weeks. These include the RJR Cross Country Invasion Tour as well JaRIA's Singers and DJs Reggae Night on February 22 at the Emancipation Park.

In the meantime, her new single How We Living is receiving good rotation on local radio as well as clubs and parties. The song has been receiving very positive feedback from fans both locally and internationally and has the highest download rate of any single from her critically acclaimed FREE mixtape JA 9.25. The much talked about music video for How We Living has been in steady rotation since its release in January and is currently No. 3 on CVM TV's Hitlist Chart.
