Splitting after a decade-long partnership, dancehall artiste Elephant Man and his long-time manager Q45 have reunited.

After steering Elephant Man's career since his departure from Scare Dem Crew in 1999, both parties decided that it was time for a change in 2010 and called it quits. However, when Q45 appeared beside Elephant Man after he was granted bail on his rape charge recently, it appeared the two were again working together.

The artiste, whose real name is Oneil Bryan, was offered bail in the amount of $400,000 with surety in The Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court. This was after being charged with grievous sexual assault and rape.

But when contacted by THE WEEKEND STAR, Q45 said they had been working together since last year.

"From last year me and him link up. Him seh him want to come back come do some work. We didn't have anything or hate against each other. Is just Elephant Man lef 'cause he said I was taking sides with Flippa (Mafia). Me and him neva have nutten," he said.

Moving forward, Q45 says, "We are getting ready to go back into the studio to do some serious work. Him just need some fresh hits."

Based on the relationship they had previously, Elephant Man says he is also looking forward to working with Q45 again.

"Di relationship weh mi and him have is like a father and son relationship. Me and Sharon Burke did a work together but she nuh have so much hands fi do so much. Q seh him ago come back in and deal wid di thing di right and proper way," Ele told THE WEEKEND STAR.

Based on the fact that they did not part on bad terms, Elephant Man says their working relationship is already back to normal.

"I wouldn't even say different, di saga continues. I am a hardworking artiste, so Q just need fi do weh him always a do, which is manage my career. Q was the one saying we need to get the thing back on track," he said.

Meanwhile, Elephant Man says he has recorded a song called Evil Mind about several recent occurrences in his life, including the recent rape case that is currently before the court. In addition, he says he has recent songs out like Gal Settings and Clean, which is also the name of a dance move created by Shelly Belly.
