A seemingly mentally challenged man who claimed that he kicked down his mother's door because he wanted to defecate was remanded for psychiatric evaluation in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.
He is 21-year-old Jason Lock from a Kingston 10 address. Lock, who has been charged with malicious destruction of property, is to return to court on February 21. It is alleged that the accused attacked his mother with a knife and damaged her television set, her door and a window to her home. Lock who pleaded guilty also told the court that he is a welder. "It is a rent house and she sent me to court because I was begging her money and she didn't give it to me. She started using indecent language at me and so I got angry. Everybody is saying that I am mad, but I am not mad," the accused told the court. |
