Although not completely new to the game, Roymane Alexander said it is still difficult to get some of the more established acts to work with his record label, Sajay Productions.

Started in 2000, Alexander said he has worked with a number of acts including Sizzla, Luciano, Lutan Fyah, Yami Bolo, Turbulence, Determine, Natural Blacks, George Nooks, Anthony B, Anthony Cruz, Christini, Lenn Hammond, Perfect, Aidonia, Chuck Fenda and Chan Dizzy. The label was also the executive producer for Turbulence's album Journey.

More than a decade later, Alexander said it is still a task to work with some acts.

"Well some of the artistes are very hard to deal with if the production is not established while others will give the production a strength. It very hard at times when you want a certain artiste on the reggae rhythm. But we do give thanks to all established artistes that give Sajay Production a strength. We working with who want to work with us. Music don't have no friends nor enemies," he told THE STAR.

Sajay Productions also has other productions to its credit, as it has done Love Alone and Quickly rhythms, with the latter getting airplay on most radio stations. In addition, Alexander said he is currently working on an album for former Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall winner, Press Fyah. He said he is also doing work with Mackeehan and Vysionaer, who are signed to his label. He added that there are also plans to do an Olympic song with DJ Accid.

Sajay Production will be releasing another rhythm called Blueberry, which has songs from Lutan Fyah, Perfect, Turbulence, Chuck Fenda, Rox Wayne, Chan Dizzy, Sharee, Aidonia and Eldie Anthony.

Although Sajay Productions has done some work in the music industry, Alexander said he wants the record label to make a lasting impact on the music industry.

"Well, Sajay Productions would like to produce good music that will live on for generations to come. Our label wants to put out upcoming talented artistes out to the world and also work with established artistes. Our aim is to spread authentic, positive and soulful music to the world at large," he said.
